上原浩子 | Hiroko Uehara
1985年、群馬県生まれ、京都府在住。京都市立芸術大学及び大学院卒業。当初は、平面作品を中心に制作していたが、自身の表現の可能性を求め、並行して立体制作へと作家としての活動の幅を広げてきた。平面制作で培った描写力と日本古来より伝わる自然の中に精霊や神が宿ると言われるアニミズムの思想に感化され、一貫して植物と人間の融合をテーマに制作している。神々しく優しくも強い生命力を感じることのできる作品である。
