西本剛己 | Takemi Nishimoto
西本は1988年に筑波大学大学院芸術研究科を修了後、アーティストとして制作活動を始める。
翌年に開催された初個展「NEOLOGISM/ネオロギズム」でのデビューから現在に至るまで、一貫したアプローチで制作を続けている。
哲学的思想からインスピレーションを受け、ビジュアル化する西本の作品は独創的な視点を内包する作品であるため、ある種難解にも感じるが、作品によって構成された空間は圧倒的な存在感を示し、鑑賞者の記憶に強く残る。
