WHAT CAFE is pleased to announce the collaboration exhibition “WHAT CAFE EXHIBITION vol.34 WHAT CAFE × DELTA ‘TOPOLOGY'” with the art project “DELTA,” which introduces galleries, directors, and artists based in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto.

This exhibition brings together ten emerging to mid-career directors active in the Kanto and Kansai regions. The directors from Kanto and Kansai will form pairs and collaborate under a joint direction, presenting five exhibitions as a result. The title of the exhibition, “TOPOLOGY,” focuses on a thinking system aimed at highlighting hidden qualities that remain constant despite repeated changes. It not only explains the structure of the exhibition, which involves continuous collaboration between directors and artists with diverse characteristics and backgrounds but also comprehensively represents the underlying ideas of the project.
