Kohei Yamashita
Born in 1983 in Ibaraki prefecture and currently living in Kyoto. Graduated and finished his B.A. and M.A. at Kyoto City University of Arts. He is working on his artwork by using memories and materials or outdoor cultures from his own experiences through hiking. He constantly sets his theme on the sense of the distance of perspective or current location and creates his artworks mainly with courage but also paintings, sculptures, photography, and installation and he is unconventional about his medium.
